Meet Our Staff

We believe that what sets Southwest apart from the crowd is our staff - a team that we've assembled that we believe to be "the best of the best." In addition to our staff of friendly, skilled, and experienced estheticians, all advanced procedures and injectables are administered by our highly qualified Aesthetic RN's.

Dr. Richard Kopolovic Dr. Kopolovic has been practicing plastic surgery in the south western suburbs of Chicago and Northern Illinois for over 15 years. He received his medical doctorate from the Ohio State University of Medicine in 1981. He then completed his surgical training at the University of Illinois in 1988. His training continued at Loyola University in plastic surgery from 1988-1991. Dr. Kopolovic dedicated time for research during his residency training and has authored publications in peer review journals for which he has received national research awards during his residencies. His private practice consists mainly of cosmetic surgery and also reconstructive surgery associated with skin cancer. He is also involved with a part-time residency teaching program. Dr. Kopolovic provides complimentary consultations every Wednesday at SouthWest Laser & MedSpa.

Dr. Scott Lowry Dr. Lowry has been a family physician for 29 years. He graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980, then went on to complete his internship and residency. He practices family practice medicine in Peotone, Illinois. He has special interests in aesthetics and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Lowry is the acting Medical Director at SouthWest Laser & Medspa.

Pam Neitzel, RN Pam Neitzel, RN is the Clinical Director of SouthWest Laser and Medspa. She has 15 years of nursing experience, with considerable focus on Critical Care and Open Heart. While with the Loyola team at Ingalls, Pam used her knowledge and experience to write a poster presentation for the reduction of surgical site infections that is still used nationally. Since 2005, Pam has trained extensively and continuously in the use of Botox, Dermal Fillers, PhotoRejuvenation, Laser Treatments, Sclerotherapy, and other Medspa applications and treatments. She keeps clients informed, investigates new treatments and procedures thoroughly and personally and is pleased to provide ongoing education for clients. Pam believes in safety, comfort and delivers excellent care in a cost-effective manner.

Jeanine Graham, RN Jeanine has been an RN for 20 years. She began her career on a cardiac step-down unit and eventually moved on to the step down ICU. Jeanine has also cared for liver transplant patients and those awaiting cardiac transplant. Her aesthetic career began in 2005. After extensive training, she opened Envy Medspa. She was co-owner and the Clinical Director there. She successfully operated Envy until 2009, when she merged with SouthWest Laser & Medspa. Jeanine continues to practice as an aesthetics nurse at Southwest Laser. She has had extensive training with the Sciton Laser, as well as all the advanced techniques available with injectables. Most recently, she has also been a contributing author of the ANA Standards and Scope of Practice guidelines for aesthetic nursing.

Melissa Gorski, RN Melissa is a Registered Nurse with an extensive background in the healthcare industry. After beginning her career in the hospital critical care setting in 1999, Melissa went on to obtain two Master’s degrees in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration. She utilized her advanced degrees to secure a leadership position in Patient Safety at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Melissa received her formal training and certification in botulinum injections and dermal fillers through the Esthetic Skin Institute and certification in Laser Therapy for hair removal, microlaserpeel, photofacial, etc through Sciton. Melissa combines her working knowledge of the facial anatomy, expert assessment of skincare needs, ability to effectively collaborate with, and recommend appropriate treatments, for patient concerns, and her dedication to patient safety to assure optimum care is delivered to her patients each and every time.

Jenny Jenny is a licensed esthetician and certified laser technician, and has been in the skincare industry for 10 years. After five years of serving clients in a day spa setting, Jenny expanded on her knowledge of skincare and transitioned to the medical spa setting. She was eager to provide her clients with the medical grade treatments unavailable in a day spa, and that provide incomparable results. The education, services, and equipment available to her today has truly transformed the appearance and health of her client's skin.

Ashley Ashley is a licensed esthetician, certified laser technician, lash extensionist and makeup artist. She's been in the industry for 5 years, all of which has been dedicated to medical esthetics. In that 5 years, she's become passionate about skincare and also keeping up on the latest technology and trends, and says that she feels blessed to be able to help people look and feel their best. Whether clients come to her for a simple brightening facial or laser therapy, she believes that cosmetic treatments done the correct and safe way, deliver confidence and a sense of well being.

Dani Dani is a licensed esthetician, certified laser technician and makeup artist. She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Dani has been an esthetician for five years and specializes in medical esthetics. Her strong passion for skincare began as teenager when she struggled with aggressive acne. Help she received from an esthetician at that time inspired her to help others look and feel better about themselves. Since then, her expertise has grown to treating a variety of clients with many different skin conditions. She is passionate about educating clients and customizing the perfect skincare “diet” to maintain beautiful healthy skin.

Nikki Nikki is a licensed esthetician, certified laser technician and makeup artist here at SouthWest Laser & MedSpa. She attended the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, AZ, and then continued her education in skin care at Trendsetters School of Esthetics. Nikki believes that working in a medical spa has given her the opportunity to expand her knowledge and learn from some of the best professionals in the industry. Her goal as a skin care specialist is to not only make her clients look great, but feel great as well.
